The message of the cross will never get old. It is the timeless truth of God’s love on display. In the blood of Christ, shed for us, we see the mercy and grace of God poured out. Jesus was the sacrificial requirement for the sins of mankind, but God sent His son purely out of His unconditional love. It is not by works which we are saved, but by the goodness of God’s grace. Where we have sinned, God’s grace has abounded even more so.
