As Christians, we have the wonderful gift of prayer that allows us to communicate with God. The Bible tells us that as we lift up our prayers and requests before Him, our Heavenly Father leans in to hear us. However, if we are to find the true benefits of prayer we must move beyond the quick simple requests and truly come before God with an open heart. You will notice your prayer life change when you begin to enter your time of prayer with a sincere desire to know God more. The power of prayer is found in praying with heart that is in accordance with the will of God.
