It is not by works, it is not by religion, it is not by your moral character. It is only through faith in salvation through Jesus by the grace of God that we are saved. As believers, this is nothing new. We see it throughout scripture and in the very testament of Christ. However, we can often forget the reality of what this implies. If it is through Christ alone that we are saved and forgiven, how many of our family members, friends, and neighbors will face the consequences of their sin?
